First of all, Happy Easter to everyone!
My hunt started where I was looking for something particular which led to unloading my car from a staging job a couple of days ago ( I got waylaid and put off the unloading until today); which led to clearing out space in the shed to put some items there, which led to taking the garden items from said shed and putting them around the yard. Phew! I had so many projects going on at once my head was spinning....but it was sunny and beautiful that it didn't matter!
I started a wreath with the branches I pruned off the wysteria bush. I'm hoping to add some old watering cans I've saved through the years and hang it under the peak of our shed.
I love seeing how the sun and approaching Spring has stirred all the ground covers to spread like crazy and the weeds.....will nothing stop these things?!
Repotted a couple of indoor plants, came inside made up some margaritas and watching the end of the Golf Masters in Augusta......Easter hunts can be so rewarding! :-)

Needing "Art" in a pinch...
I mentioned in previous post that I redesigned a house to sell last week, and I ended up taking quite a few accessories out of my stock to rejuvenate their home, give it a new refreshed look, and I needed some artwork fast, at low cost.
Step in paper.....I haven't really used paper that much, but I'm starting to love the unfathomable uses of it which warms my heart. So, I grabbed a frame that I already had and was waiting to be used, plus some old maps I've kept, some paint chips, brochures and embroidery thread and in a few short hours a fun piece was born!
It really looked great in the room that I hung a multi-colored string hammock chair in the corner, and bright colored pillows, sheers and throw. Even the wooden side chair next to bed as bedside table had a vase filled with matching bright colors. Love it when everything comes together and "works"

"Monster" chair Auction
I've had today's auction marked on my calendar for weeks, and I'm already envisioning where I will be placing the "monster" redwood chair and table that I hope will be mine at the end of today!
My husband even gave up his usual place at his computer editing photographs that he takes of local landscapes, plus the Master's Golf tournament to accompany me on an hour trip away to this auction! Now that's love right there!
To make a long, long story short....we stayed until the bitter end, you know, when everything was going for a dollar and if the box lot didn't sell, the auctioneer added another box and another until someone finally succumbed to paying a dollar. I didn't get my "monster" chair...crushingly hard to fathom, and they were not kidding about monster! Made with solid redwood, it could not be lifted...took 4 men to pick it up....plus it sold for way more than I could ever scrounge up, so off I went and picked up about a dozen silk greenery of various sizes and shapes for $2.00 each....a huge bargain, some even still had the retail tag of $34.99 on them! Scored! Yeah, perfect touches for Home Staging, and decorating the Parade of Homes model I'm working on for the Fall. A wall hanging, ladder, comic glasses, a Nordic Pine in pot and even a leather trench coat for my husband, rounded out the rest of the day. A couple of things to sell in my store, tayrose.com, on ebay, tayrosecom, and on Etsy, TayRose.....so grateful that the sun was out all day, everything fit in the truck, and even had time to post some items on ebay.
Tomorrow, I've got to return items to stock that I didn't use on a house that I staged to sell last week. I also need to drag out some old rusted tin that I need to paint on for a client. A full day!
